Bookinginformasjon og vilkår
I want your experience working with Studio Skadi to be seamless and clear from start to finish! Below is an overview of what you can expect when booking my services, including contract details, cancellation policies, and image rights.
Contract
For every photo shoot, I prepare a written contract before we begin. This ensures complete transparency by clearly detailing what is included in your package, the total price, and the specific rights held by both you as the client and Studio Skadi.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and I understand plans can change. To keep things fair and manageable, the following cancellation terms apply:
For smaller sessions (such as maternity, family, or portrait photography), please notify me at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot will be billed in full.
For major projects (such as weddings or large productions), cancellations made with more than two months remaining before the event date will not receive a refund of the initial deposit. If a cancellation occurs within two months of the event date, the assignment must be paid in full, including the deposit.
Travel & Surcharges
I am based in Hadeland and happy to travel for our session! For trips outside the Hadeland area, a driving allowance of 5 NOK per kilometer applies. For longer destination trips or multi-day assignments across the country, board and lodging are to be covered by the client in addition to the project fee.
What You Are Buying & Image Rights
When you hire Studio Skadi, you are purchasing the digital files alongside a license to use the delivered images. As the creator, I (Anna den Broeder / Studio Skadi) automatically retain the original copyright under the Norwegian Copyright Act (åndsverkloven).
You receive full rights to use your photos for personal enjoyment, such as sharing on your private social media, printing home decor, or creating family albums. However, these rights are non-transferable. Photos cannot be sold, sub-licensed, or shared with third parties (such as commercial venues, vendors, or publications) without prior written permission from Studio Skadi.
Image Editing & Alterations
A great deal of care, time, and artistic expertise goes into curating and editing your final images to give them Studio Skadi’s signature look. To preserve the quality and integrity of this work, I ask that you do not apply social media filters, heavily crop, re-color, or alter the images using AI tools. I deliver complete, professionally edited files; raw, unedited files are never distributed.
Crediting & Social Media
I love seeing my clients share their images! Whenever you post your photos publicly or online, please credit or tag Anna den Broeder / Studio Skadi. Proper attribution helps support my small business and ensures the work is recognised.
Copyright is about respect – for the creator, and for the user. When the rules are followed, we avoid misunderstandings and ensure fair use of photographs.
You can read more about copyright on the website of the Norwegian Photographers' Association.
