At Studio Skadi, I use professional lighting and a trained eye to "hunt" for the magic in the shadows. But before the first shutter clicks, our journey begins with a conversation. I always meet with you before the shoot to walk through your plans, scout locations, and ensure we are the perfect match for the story you want to tell. This ensures that when the day arrives, you can simply be present, knowing your legacy is being captured with technical precision and the care it deserves.

  • I. The Bragi session | 30-45 minutes | 2.500 kroner

    In the halls of the Aesir, your presence is your power.

    Named after the God of Eloquence, this session is designed for the modern professional or the individual seeking to document their own evolving story. Whether you require a polished, authoritative look for your career or a soulful, artistic portrait "just for you," we use specialized lighting to ensure you project confidence, character, and clarity.

    This session can be held at an outdoor location of your choice or utilizing my portable studio set for a refined, controlled aesthetic.

    The Bragi Session includes:

    • 30–45 Minutes of Photography

    • Professional Post-Production

    • 3 High-Resolution Edited Images: Your selection of three signature portraits, delivered via a private gallery.

This option is designed for those who want every treasured moment captured, ensuring the unique rhythm of your day and your love for one another take center stage.

    The Vanir includes:

    • 8 Hours of Photography

    • Professional Post-Production

    • Online Gallery with all the approved and edited photos.

    III. The Aesir | 46.000 kroner | 12 hours
    The complete legacy. For those who seek to preserve every heartbeat of their story, from the first nervous breath of morning to the final, late-night celebrations. This is a comprehensive visual diary of your most significant day, featuring an editorial portrait session as the artistic centerpiece of your collection.

    The Aesir includes:

    • 12 Hours of Photography

    • Professional Post-Production

    • Online Gallery with all the approved and edited photos.

By booking both sessions together, we create a consistent visual narrative—from the editorial elegance of the Frigg maternity session to the organic warmth of the Yggdrasil family shoot.

    This bundle is designed for those who desire a cohesive edit across both galleries, ensuring they look beautiful side-by-side in a physical album or as a gallery wall in your home.

  • I. The Sleipnir session | Kids | 30 minutes | 2.200 kroner

    A hunt for the fleeting magic of childhood.

    Inspired by Odin’s eight-legged steed, this high-energy session is designed to keep pace with wild spirits and boundless imagination. We capture the mischievous joy, the quiet wonder, and the lightning-fast moments that define your child’s current chapter before they shift into the next.

    The Sleipnir Session includes:

    • 30 Minutes of Photography: A fast-paced, engaging session tailored to short attention spans and big personalities.

    • Professional Post-Production: Artistic editing to highlight the vibrant energy of the shoot.

    • Curated Online Gallery: A collection of 5 high-resolution edited images.

    III. The Yggdrasil session | Family | 1 hour | 4.000 kroner

    A documentation of your living history.

    Much like the World Tree connecting the nine realms, we capture the deep roots and the ever-growing branches of your family. This is an organic, documentary-style session focused on the authentic connections, the quiet glances, and the raw joy that exists between you.

    We don't just take pictures; we preserve the foundation of your legacy.

    The Yggdrasil Session includes:

    • 1 Hour of Photography: A relaxed session in a location that holds meaning for your family.

    • Professional Post-Production: Artistic, cinematic editing to ensure a timeless aesthetic.

    • Curated Online Gallery: A collection of 20 high-resolution edited images.

    This is not an expense for a few digital files, it is an investment in your own monument. It is a commitment to honour your season, your body, and your unyielding story.

    The Sovereign Flame session includes:

    • Pre-shoot consultation

    • Up to 2 hours of Photography

    • Professional Post-Production

    • 15 High-Resolution Edited Images

    • One fine-art print (30×40) of your choosing.

Our Process

The Planning Meeting

Before the first shutter clicks, we meet. Whether in person or via video call, this is where we discuss your wishes, plans, and dreams. I will share my "tips and tricks" to help your day run smoothly and ensure the light is always in our favor. Most importantly, this is a chance for us to ensure we are the perfect match. To tell a great story, the storyteller and the subject must be in sync.

Step I - The Council

The Day Itself

This is where the vision comes to life. Regardless of the service you’ve chosen, my role is to set the mood and "get the show going." I balance a calm, professional presence with the energy needed to keep the narrative moving. While you stay present in the moment, I am behind the lens, "hunting" for the authentic connections and cinematic light that define your day.

Step II - The Event

Post-Production

Once the day is done, the most intensive part of my work begins. This is where the magic happens. I meticulously curate your photos, selecting the very best to undergo my specialized editing process. To keep your excitement high, I will send you a sneak peek via email within the first week. The full selection takes time to perfect, as I hand-edit each image to ensure the "magic sparkles" and the colors remain timeless.

Step III - The Alchemy

Delivery

The final step is the unveiling of your story. You will receive access to a private, high-end online gallery where you can view and share your final, edited photos.

Digital Gallery: Access is for a restricted time, so ensure you download your high-resolution files to your own "vault."

The Physical Heirloom: For those who want a tangible legacy, I offer the option to create a premium, physical photo album. I handle the design and sourcing personally to ensure the quality is worthy of the Aesir. (This is available as a surplus to your chosen package).

Step IV - The Legacy

Questions about your saga

  • The booking fee is your commitment to the session and my commitment to you. It covers the time I spend in The Council (planning), scouting locations, and preparing your personalized guides. Most importantly, it ensures your date is locked in and unavailable to any other tribe.

  • No. It is simply the first installment of your package. For example, if your session costs 4,200 NOK and you pay a 1,250 NOK booking fee, your final invoice will only be 2,950 NOK.

  • If we are shooting outdoors and the weather is too extreme for "the hunt," we will simply move the session. Your booking fee will transfer to our new agreed-upon date at no extra cost.

  • The booking fee is non-refundable as it covers the administrative work and the loss of that date for other clients. However, if you reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice, I am happy to move your fee to a new date within the next six months.
